Wellsford School provides a good quality education for its students. The acting principal at the time of ERO’s 2008 review has since been appointed as principal. Areas for development raised in ERO’s 2008 report have been addressed. The school uses effective self-review processes to raise student achievement across the school and to strengthen home-school partnerships. Teachers have participated in several significant professional development initiatives that have focused on improving student learning, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
